House is invaded by water and mud and is at risk of collapsing in Minas Gerais

After heavy rains that hit the city of Ituiutaba (MG), on Thursday night (7), teams from the Fire Department were called to the risk of a house collapsing.

The military arrived to carry out a safety inspection and damage assessment of the house.

The place was invaded by floods accompanied by a lot of mud. According to the military, residents reported that they received prevention instructions and left the place before it was taken over by water. There were no injuries.

After assessment by firefighters, the property was released for residents to return to their homes.

The corporation highlighted the importance of the population being aware of the risks of floods, landslides and flooding during the rainy season, avoiding staying in risk areas.
