James Trevor Oliver
Today, the world-famous chef was born on May 27 of the year in the English town of Clavering. Even as a small child, he enjoyed helping out in the family pub, The Cricketers. Although music also became his love and he formed the group Scarlet Division at the age of 14, his desire for cooking was much greater.
From the age of 16, he studied at Westminster Catering College and then started working in London’s The Neal Street Restaurant with top British chef Antonio Carlucci. He gained further experience at the River Café under the direction of Ruth Rogers.
Then Jamie started his famous period in front of the TV cameras and opened his own business Fifteen in London. His success was so great that he opened restaurants with this name all over the world. Jamie’s greatest fame started with his first TV show called The naked chef, which was broadcast between 1998 and 1999. The chef also publishes his recipes in books, and his cookbooks are among the best-selling in the world.
Jamie a omelette
Jamie Oliver is very fond of omelettes, which are light, fluffy, always “smooth” and full of flavor. He adds the ingredients to the beaten eggs immediately in the pan, or fills them with the prepared mixture afterwards. The chef does not miss quality and healthy ingredients, as well as herbs that give omelets the right twist.
Express omelet ready in 45 seconds
The famous British chef Jamie Oliver loves one basic, very simple and quick recipe. Heat a Teflon or other non-stick pan on the hotplate and in the meantime crack 2 to 3 raw eggs into a bowl. Then beat them properly with a fork.
Then drop a little quality oil on the surface of the pan, pour the prepared eggs and let them spread over the entire surface in a circular motion so that they are as thin as a silk sheet. Finally, sprinkle the surface with grated cheese according to your taste and, after a while, roll it into a roll in the pan. Serve on toast or dry toast.
Omelet with cheddar, basil and tomatoes
You can also try Jamie’s other omelette. In this case, you will need a teaspoon of butter, 2 eggs, salt, pepper, 100 grams of grated cheddar, a few leaves of fresh basil, olive oil, about 10 cherry tomatoes and iceberg lettuce.
Crack the eggs into a bowl, add a pinch of salt and pepper and beat with a fork. Then let the pan heat up on a moderate level of the hotplate as in the previous case and let the butter melt on it.
Then pour in the eggs, spread them over the entire surface and add chopped cherry tomatoes and iceberg lettuce cut into pieces. Sprinkle chopped fresh basil leaves over the omelette on the plate.
