“The actions of the National Force are guided by federal cooperation, acting as support for local security forces. The employment of staff is always subsidiary and follows the planning of the requesting body. Furthermore, the mobilization of the FNSP occurs upon formal request from the state governor, the Federal District, or the minister of State, as established in art. 4th of Decree No. 5,289, of November 29, 2004”, informs a note from the ministry.
In addition to the National Force, military police will participate in the security scheme. The Army’s participation still depends on the publication of a Law and Order Guarantee decree (GLO), by the Presidency of the Republic.
The G20 will bring together leaders from the group’s 19 countries, which are among the largest economies in the world. There will also be representatives from the European Union and the African Union, which are part of the G20 as permanent members, as well as guests.
