The president of , (PSD-MG), will not participate in the closing session of the 10th Summit of Presidents of G20 Parliaments (P20) this Friday (8), due to the death of his father, Helio Cota Pacheco. “The president of the Senate, Rodrigo Pacheco, will not participate in the closing session of the 10th Summit of Presidents of Parliaments of the G20 (P20), scheduled for this Friday (8), due to the death of his father, Mr. Helio Cota Pacheco, which occurred this morning, in Belo Horizonte”, stated the press office of the Senate presidency, in a statement, this Friday.

Pacheco’s presence was expected to close the event. At the opening of the session, the president of the Chamber, Arthur Lira (PP-AL), announced that the president of the Senate would no longer participate, but did not give details about the reason.
