Passengers face disruptions this Friday morning (8), at the airports of , south zone of , and Santos Dumont, in , due to canceled flights in both locations. There have been reports of problems boarding since Thursday night (7). According to reports from passengers, Congonhas recorded a chaotic morning. In some situations, people boarded and had to leave the aircraft. The company reinforces that actions regarding flights were taken with a focus on safety.
Latam informs that some of its flights to/from São Paulo/Congonhas on Thursday night were canceled or diverted to other airports, due to heavy rains in the capital of São Paulo, a fact completely beyond its control. “The company clarifies that it is offering all necessary assistance to passengers and recommends that, before heading to the airports, customers with trips scheduled this Friday to/from São Paulo/Congonhas check the status of their flights on the My Trips page ,” the company said. On the Congonhas panel, among the canceled flights are destinations such as Rio de Janeiro and Curitiba. At Santos Dumont, there are records of cancellations of departures that were planned for the capital of São Paulo.
