Fiala emphasized that the spread of anti-Semitism and violence cannot be simply watched.
Czech Prime Minister Petr Fiala condemned the attacks on fans of the Israeli football club Maccabi Tel Aviv, which occurred on Thursday in Amsterdam after the match with the Ajax Amsterdam club. Fiala wrote on the X social network that the spread of anti-Semitism cannot be simply watched, reports TASR in Prague.
“I strongly condemn the anti-Semitic attacks in Amsterdam. This is exactly what I mean when I talk about uncontrolled migration to Europe. We must not just watch the spread of anti-Semitism and violence, but we must take care of the safety of our citizens,” said the Prime Minister of the Czech Republic, who is currently at the informal EU summit in Budapest.
