The Federal Police indicted Pablo Marçal (PRTB) this Friday (8) for publishing a false document. The former coach published a false medical report against Guilherme Boulos (PSOL) on the eve of the first round of elections.
Marçal gave a statement this Friday at the PF Regional Superintendence building in São Paulo. He arrived at the scene around 11:20 am.
Like the Civil Police, the PF also concluded that the report released by Marçal is false. The image released by the former coach attempted to associate Boulos with drug use.
The document was published on the influencer’s Instagram profile on October 4th.
The Electoral Court is also investigating the case. On Sunday of the first round, judge Silmar Fernandes, president of TRE-SP, said that if Marçal is convicted, his political rights could be suspended, which would leave the influencer ineligible.
The PRTB candidate denied on different occasions knowing that the report was false. “You can talk to Tássio Renam [advogado]. He who posted it, at the time of the post I was on the Intelligence Limited podcast. He posted it himself. And we are 100% at peace,” he told reporters after voting in the first round of elections.
