Brazilian singer Anitta competes for the 2nd time, nominated for Best Latin Pop Album; awards will be on February 2nd

This Friday (November 8, 2024) the list of names nominated for the Grammy Awards 2024 categories was released. The 67th edition of the award will be held on February 2, 2025, in Los Angeles.

Singer Anitta was nominated in the Best Latin Pop Album category, being the only Brazilian among the names listed. It is the 2nd time that the singer has participated in the award show, the 1st time at the 2022 Grammys, when she competed in the New Artist category.

This year’s Grammys also features record breaking. American singer Beyoncé surpassed the number of nominations of her husband, rapper Jay-Z, and became the most nominated artist in the history of the award, with 99 nominations. Furthermore, the artist was also the most nominated at this edition of the Grammys, with 11 gramophones in contention.
