Atlético-MG and Flamengo face each other this Sunday (10), in a decisive match for the Copa do Brasil cup. The Rio team arrives with a good advantage, after winning 3-1 at Maracanã.

Although it is not the first time that a team has had to reverse a two-goal deficit in a final, Galo will not have an easy task. The last time this happened successfully was in the 2008 decision, in a great game between Sport and Corinthians.

Remember the duel between Sport x Corinthians

In the first game of the 2008 Copa do Brasil final, held in Morumbi, Sport faced Corinthians, who opened up a 3-0 lead. Even with the score not favorable, Leão did not let themselves be discouraged and still managed to score their goal of honor, with Enilton. That year, the away goal was still valid as a tiebreaker.

The decision was made for the second game, on July 11th, on Ilha do Retiro. In a brilliant first half, Sport did what it needed: Carlinhos Bala and Luciano Henrique found the net and, with 2-0, Leão won the 2008 Copa do Brasil trophy, reversing the deficit and becoming champions.
