The Internal Affairs Unit of the National Police to a senior officer of the force at the Madrid Superior Headquarters for his alleged relationship with drug trafficking. According to Voz Pópuli and police sources confirm to EL PAÍS, the arrested person is the head of the Economic and Fiscal Crime Unit (Udef), which is precisely in charge of crimes related to money laundering. The agent had the money hidden in his home and also in his office. The partner of this high command, also a police officer at the Alcalá de Henares police station, has also been investigated in the operation. The investigation against these two agents is related to the largest stash of cocaine seized by the National Police in Spain.
