The police tracked down the perpetrator based on the description and took him into custody.
US police in Seattle have arrested a man who stabbed nine bystanders over the course of two days, attacking five of them Friday afternoon. It was reported by the AP agency.
“This incident apparently involved an individual who committed multiple random attacks over a 38-hour period,” Deputy Police Chief Eric Barden told the media on Friday.

The attacks took place in Seattle’s Chinatown. Witnesses provided the police with a description of the perpetrator’s appearance, and the police subsequently located him near the crime scene and took him into custody without incident.

“According to my information, they are all attacked alive,” added Barden.
