Bahia is ready for another challenge in the Brazilian Championship. This Friday (8), the Squad finished preparing for the duel against Juventude, scheduled for this Saturday (9), at 7pm, in Caxias do Sul. The Bahian team will have changes.
At the Palmeiras CT, in São Paulo, Rogério Ceni led the last training session before the match. The coach will be forced to change the lineup, as Jean Lucas and Gabriel Xavier received their third yellow card and are suspended.
In place of the defender, Victor Cuesta should enter the team to play alongside Kanu. The sector also has Vitor Hugo and David Duarte among its options. In midfield, the tendency is for Thaciano, who returns after serving a suspension, to take the place. Acevedo is also fighting for the position.
If he opts for Thaciano instead of Jean, Ceni would play the player in his original role and maintain the attacking duo formed by Luciano Rodríguez and Ademir. Bahia’s probable lineup has:
Marcos Felipe, Arias, Kanu, Cuesta and Luciano Juba; Caio Alexandre, Thaciano (Acevedo), Everton Ribeiro and Cauly; Ademir and Luciano Rodríguez.
From São Paulo, Bahia heads to Caxias do Sul on Friday night. The tricolor is currently 7th in the Brasileirão and needs to win to remain in the classification zone for the Libertadores.
