Player will introduce himself to the Uruguayan team after the tricolor duel against Juventude

In a good phase at Bahia, striker Luciano Rodríguez was once again called up by the Uruguay national team for the World Cup qualifying games. This time, however, the tricolor player will be able to face the Brazilian team, at Fonte Nova. The information was initially released by radio broadcaster Marinho Júnior and confirmed by CORREIO. Uruguay has not yet officially released the list of athletes called.
One of the two games that Uruguay will play during November’s FIFA Date will be against Brazil. The duel is scheduled for the 19th, a Tuesday, at 9:30 pm, in Salvador. Before that, Uruguay hosts Colombia, on November 15th, at the Centenário stadium, in Montevideo.
Lucho arrived at Bahia during the June transfer window as the most expensive purchase in the history of northeastern football. The tricolor paid around R$65.5 to acquire the athlete from Liverpool-URU.
With the Esquadrão shirt, he played 16 games and scored four goals. The attacker won the starting line-up in the defeat to São Paulo, in the last round of the Brasileirão, and should be kept in the team that faces Juventude, this Saturday (9), in Caxias do Sul. On Sunday (10), he will present himself to the coach Marcelo Bielsa, in Uruguay.
