Aena advises passengers to confirm the status of their flights directly with the companies

in the south of , registered 112 cancellations between Thursday (7) and this Saturday morning (9), due to the heavy rains that affected the capital of São Paulo. According to Aena Brasil, the concessionaire that manages the airport, operations were normalized this morning. This Saturday, the scenario in Congonhas is normal, in contrast to the chaos of previous days, when passengers faced long queues and spent the night in the lobby.

Aena reported that six flights were canceled today, including one takeoff and five landings, as part of adjustments made by the airlines. The concessionaire advises passengers to confirm the status of their flights directly with the companies. On Thursday, adverse weather conditions resulted in the cancellation of 32 flights (16 arrivals and 16 departures). On Friday (8), the number of cancellations was 74, with 31 takeoffs and 43 landings.
