The government trained this Thursday (7) 305 delegates, which should reduce the deficit in the role from 30% to 20% of posts. They should be allocated by the state starting next week.
The graduation took place at Palácio dos Bandeirantes with the presence of the governor (Republicans).
According to state management, it is the first time that new graduates have received specialization in human rights, during the six-month course at the Police Academy (Acadepol). There were also classes on police investigation, investigation, weapons and shooting, conduct, self-defense and public management.
The government says it has promoted the largest appointment of professionals in the history of the Civil Police in 2024, with 4,000 approved. This reduced staff shortages at the institution, in roles such as clerk (from 45% to 23%), investigator (37% to 27%) and coroner (41% to 15%).
