Slovak actress Zdena Studenková (70) has been a couple with musician Braň Kostek (53) for more than three decades, although their beginnings were not rosy. Many condemned them because of the big age difference, and at the beginning of their relationship even Kostka himself did not believe much.
“I said to myself that it will definitely be the actress… It was a sight that I had been waiting for a long time, anticipating it, of course, watching the TV screen and preparing for that moment for a long time, and then for a long time I thought that Zdenka was just playing with me, I didn’t trust her in my own way, and that created such a paradoxical moment that I was so impregnable, because I thought that this would just be some kind of game,” the well-known conductor admitted on the show
However, the ice broke very quickly when the actress left him a package with a steamer for buns at the gatehouse at Nova scena. “So I said to myself at the time, hey, this looks serious,” continued Kostka, who was immediately complemented by Studenková.
“But that was not the point. He lived in a sublet, I visited him there a few times… First I cleaned, swept away the cobwebs, primed the sink, the hood above the stove, and then I realized that he was starving. He likes sweets, so I told him to at least buy some steamed buns and warm up… Because most of the time, when they did something there, they made…spaghetti with sardines! Who would eat that! Well, I left the steamer on the dumpling there for him. An unforgettable gift,” explained the acting diva.
