Senator says the government needs to combat organized crime and wants to call Lewandowski to “accountability”
The senator (União Brasil) criticized the actions of the president (PT) after that of a businessman linked to the PCC (Primeiro Comando da Capital) at São Paulo International Airport, in Guarulhos this Friday (Nov 8, 2024).
Moro also said that he will present a request to summon the Minister of Justice, to “account” at the CSP (Public Security Commission). “The Lula Government needs to stop talking and start fighting organized crime”said the senator.

According to Moro, Lula “lost control of public safety”. On Friday (Nov 8), businessman Antônio Gritzbach, a PCC whistleblower, was shot dead by two suspects in arrival terminal 2 at São Paulo International Airport, in Guarulhos. Three other people were injured.
The senator also stated that the (Federal Police) “should focus on combating organized crime, instead of going after Fátima de Tubarão”. Maria de Fátima Mendonça, aged 67, was imprisoned for 17 years for participating in the coup acts on January 8th.
