Presidents of the parliaments of the member countries participated this Thursday (7) in the opening ceremony of the P20, a summit that brings together the legislative representatives of the group in the .
The event is hosted by and by the Federal between the 6th and 8th of November. The meetings began on Wednesday (6), with the Parliamentary Forum, where the recommendations of the 1st Meeting of Women Parliamentarians of the P20, held in July this year in Maceió (AL), were discussed.
This Thursday (7), there are still debate sessions on the contribution of parliaments to combating hunger, poverty and inequality and the role of legislative houses in tackling the environmental crisis and sustainability.
