The leader of , (PB), obtained support from two other parties for his candidacy in succession to (-AL) as president of the Chamber. This Wednesday (6), the deputy met with the leader of the PRD, Fred Costa (MG), and with the leader of the Network, Túlio Gadêlha (PE), to consolidate the partnership.
The two meetings took place at the official residence of the President of the Chamber.
The PRD in the election of the Board of Directors, but the party decided to go with Hugo.
“We want unity and pacification. He is a parliamentarian who brings together all the necessary predicates. A balanced, competent, young and at the same time experienced guy”, he tells Sheet o leader of PRD.
The party currently has five deputies. The Network, with a representative in the Chamber, also declared support for Hugo Motta. The party is part of the federation with PSOL — with 13 deputies, the party has not yet made a decision on who it will support in Lira’s succession.
This afternoon, Hugo met with the president of Solidariedade, Paulinho da Força, and parliamentarians from the party. He also received formal support from the party, which has 5 deputies.
On Tuesday (5), it received support from four parties: the PSDB-Cidadania federation, the PSB and the PDT.
Last week, the leader of the Republicans already had public endorsement (the two largest benches in the Chamber) and the acronyms PP, MDB, Podemos, PV and PC do B, in addition to his own party, the Republicans.
Hugo Motta has already obtained formal support from 75% of the 513 seats in the House (with 385 deputies), isolating his opponents, Elmar and the leader of the PSD, (BA).
On Tuesday, , stating that the party will begin dialogue with Hugo and Lira to address the “proportionality” of the party’s spaces in the Chamber.
