The family of Antonio Augusto Amaral de Carvalho, “Seu Tuta”, icon of Brazilian communication and founder of Young Paninvites friends and admirers to the seventh day mass in his honor. The ceremony will take place this Monday (11), at 12pm, at the Parish of the Assunção de Nossa Senhora, located at Alameda Lorena, 665A, in Jardim Paulista, in São Paulo. Seu Tuta, who died at the age of 93 last Monday (4), left a remarkable legacy on Brazilian radio and television, having transformed the Young Pan in one of the largest communication networks in the country. The mass will be broadcast live on Rede Vida, allowing those who cannot attend to follow the tribute.
From the beginning of his career, Tuta stood out for his innovation and commitment to press freedom. Responsible for historic moments in TV and radio in Brazil, he was an essential figure for the development of communication in the country, valuing teamwork and fighting against censorship. His motto was “no one succeeds alone”. His legacy continues to live on on the station, which today is followed by millions of people in Brazil and around the world.
