On Saturday, two men ended up in a police detention cell after escaping from the Seneca police shortly after midnight after the patrol tried to stop them for speeding. In front of the village of Reca, they lost control of the vehicle and the car overturned several times. Both tried to escape from the scene, the 17-year-old passenger was detained by the police on the spot, the 20-year-old driver was only stopped by a warning shot from a service weapon. Regional police spokesman Michal Szeiff informed TASR about this.

“Both nationals of Ukraine were restricted in their personal freedom and escorted to the police station. At the same time, the driver was subjected to a breath test to detect the presence of alcohol in his breath, which ended with a positive result – the value of alcohol in his breath was measured at 0.85 milligrams per liter, which is 1.77 per thousand. said Szeiff.

According to the spokesperson, there was also a 19-year-old woman in the vehicle, who was also escorted by the police to the district department. As Szeiff added, no one was injured during the incident and the Seneca district police officers are investigating.
