President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT), 79, called the vice-president, Geraldo Alckmin this Thursday (7) to congratulate him on his 72nd birthday.
“Okay? I’m here active and proud to congratulate you on your birthday. How old, Alckmin? He looks like my son, 72!”, says the president. The video of the moment of the call was published on the federal government’s official account.
“Congratulations, dear. Many years of life, I want to live to 120 and you to 121”, he concludes.
Lula also posted the video on his Instagram and X (formerly Twitter) accounts, and it was republished by Alckmin. In his X account, Alckmin wrote in gratitude: “President, when we do what we like alongside those we admire, we rejuvenate.”
