American elections 2024: Trump also won in the last undecided state of Arizona!

Republican candidate Donald Trump also won the US presidential election in the state of Arizona, gaining another – and last – 11 electoral votes. This follows from the information provided by the Associated Press (AP) and CNN and NBC News on Saturday evening local time, writes TASR.

Arizona was the last state to which the results were expected from Tuesday’s elections. According to the data of the American media, Democratic Vice President Kamala Harris cannot catch up with the ex-president. Trump so won in all seven key US states, in which the chances of both candidates were equal according to pre-election polls.

Overall you secured 312 votes in the electorate, Harris got 226 of them. They were needed to win 270 votes, Trump already crossed this line during the post-election night from Tuesday to Wednesday.

Americans elected Donald Trump for 47th President of the United States and will return to the White House after four years. The Electoral College will formally vote on the new president December 17, the inauguration will take place on January 20, 2025.
