After the match, coach Artur Jorge evaluated the match and stated that Botafogo produced enough to come away with victory this Saturday (9), at the Nilton Santos Stadium, in the 33rd round of the Brazilian Championship. For the commander, the result was completely unfair.

“Today, the result is extremely unfair for us. But I’m not saying everything was done well, but we did enough to win this game. Shots, balls hit the post, we attack from the left, the right, the center. We finished the game with four men in the forward line”

Also asked about the team’s current situation, the coach asked for calm and highlighted the need to control expectations.

“I’ve been talking a lot about the importance of controlling expectations, because, in fact, in a championship as balanced as this one, where each game is extremely difficult, we need to be able to perceive the moments that the team is experiencing. This team has had a one-point lead for four games, then three, six, and now it has four. We have to balance ourselves emotionally and understand that there are five games left.”

With the draw, 4 points ahead of Palmeiras, vice-leader and who beat Grêmio last Friday night (8)

Botafogo will only return to the field on November 20th, when they visit Atlético-MG, at Arena MRV, in Belo Horizonte, for the 34th round of the Brasileirão.
