The governments of Brazil and Sweden signed a letter of intent to expand the purchase of Swedish Gripen fighters by the FAB (Brazilian Air Force), while the Swedish government will acquire the C-390 Millennium multi-mission freighter, produced by Embraer.

Sweden, in turn, expressed interest in acquiring Embraer C-390 transport aircraft.
