Stars from the series spoke to the Brazilian public via videoconference; the new phase debuts in 2025
Rick Riordan, Walker Scobell, Leah Sava Jeffries and Aryan Simhadri joined a live call directly from to talk to the Brazilian audience. Happy with the repercussion of “Percy Jackson”, the creator, Rick, talked about the selection of actors. “Having the three of them play and bring the characters to life, connecting with the fans, is one of the best experiences of my life. I couldn’t imagine better people to bring Percy, Annabeth and Aryan to life,” he said.
Walter, who plays Percy Jackson, also revealed a fun behind-the-scenes detail and shared his favorite scene to film so far. “One of my favorites is [a cena] where Aryan was being dragged through the sand, and I had to run after him. It was really funny, I ended up kicking sand everywhere”, he joked. Aryan, who plays Grover, made a point of commenting on their off-screen dynamics. “We are all lucky because we got along really well right away. We get together at dinners and at home,” he said.
Finally, Walter also gave a small spoiler for a scene from the second season. “Recently we shot one of my favorites, which is when we are crossing the sea of monsters”.
