Dozens of people were killed and injured in an Israeli attack on a house in Jabalia, in the north of the Gaza Strip, in the early hours of Sunday (10), Palestinian doctors said.
Images circulating on social media, which Reuters could not immediately verify, showed about a dozen bodies wrapped in blankets and lying on the floor of a hospital. Residents said the affected building housed at least 30 people.
The official Palestinian news agency WAFA and Hamas media put the number of people killed at 32. There was no immediate confirmation of the count from the territory’s health ministry.

Israel says it has sent forces to Jabalia, Beit Lahiya and Beit Hanoun, in the north of the enclave, to combat those carrying out attacks from these locations and to prevent them from regrouping.
Israeli forces say their troops have killed hundreds of fighters in those areas since the start of the new offensive.
In Gaza City, an Israeli airstrike on a house in the Sabra neighborhood killed Wael Al-Khour, a ministerial official, and seven other members of his family, including his wife and children, on Sunday, doctors and relatives said.
The Israeli military said it was analyzing reports of the attack in Jabalia and the Sabra neighborhood.
