Gilson Machado recorded a video alongside the former president as they passed in front of the Executive headquarters
The former Minister of Tourism (PL) used his social media profiles this Saturday (Nov 9, 2024) to share a video with the former president (PL).
In the video, recorded by the former minister, the two are sitting in the back seat of a car. The car passes in front of the Palácio do Planalto, in Brasília. Machado then states: “Get ready, get ready, get ready, we’re going to come back here, man.”.
Bolsonaro is not paying attention to what Machado says. It appears to be reading something. Upon hearing from the former minister that they are going back to Palácio do Planalto, he takes off his glasses and just laughs.

Bolsonaro is ineligible until 2030. There is a belief that in the United States it could, in some way, help the former president to contest the 2026 elections. He also talks about making a “” in Congress in 2 years.
Even though he is ineligible, Bolsonaro states that he will be a candidate in 2026. On October 29, there is no right-wing political current without him: “They have tried several times and failed. These guys bring together how many people at the airport in a chat? They don’t know the people’s language, it’s a utopia.”
