According to the PF, the case is with the São Paulo Civil Police due to the fact that the businessman was killed outside the airport
The (Ministry of Justice and Public Security) reported this Saturday (Nov 9, 2024) that it is following the investigation into that of Antônio Gritzbach, who died on Friday (Nov 8, 2024) at Guarulhos International Airport, in São Paulo.
According to the MJSP, the case was forwarded to the São Paulo Civil Police, as the businessman was killed outside the airport perimeter. The ministry stated that it is monitoring the progress of the investigations and offering technical support, such as experts and equipment, to assist the investigation.
Gritzbach, a whistleblower for the PCC (First Command of the Capital), was shot dead shortly after disembarking at terminal 2 of the airport. The PMs responsible for escorting the businessman were:
- Leandro Ortiz, 39 years old;
- Adolfo Oliveira, 34 years old;
- Jefferson Silva Marques de Souza, 29 years old;
- Romarks César Ferreira de Lima, 35 years old.
During the early hours of Friday to Saturday, the police officers gave a statement and were released. According to an investigation by the UolGritzbach’s security guards arrived at the arrivals terminal in a GM Trailblazer vehicle and a Volkswagen Amarok, but the second vehicle reportedly had a mechanical problem and stopped at a gas station.
Vinícius Gritzbach was returning from a trip to the Northeast with his girlfriend, whose name was not disclosed, and with the driver, Danilo Lima Silva, 35 years old. Both were interviewed by investigators.
The businessman was attacked by 2 men who hid their faces with balaclavas. After the murder, the suspects got into a black Volkswagen Gol and fled the scene.
In addition to the businessman, who died instantly, the rifle shots hit 3 other people who were at the scene. Technician Samara Lima de Oliveira, 28 years old; airport employee Willian Sousa Santos, 39 years old; app driver Celso Araújo Sampaio de Morais, 41 years old.

The approval of the Proposed Amendment to the Constitution, which is under evaluation and will soon be forwarded to Congress, will facilitate the exchange of information about criminal factions, in addition to enabling the carrying out of joint operations by the different police forces.”
