Leader of the NA bench from 2025, the federal deputy (RJ) tells the Panel that he knows how to separate his personal convictions from collective ones and that his main task will be to defend the positions of the party bench and also the government.
The imminent replacement of (MG) by Lindbergh created expectations among the PT that it would become more tense, as the latter was critical of federal government projects, especially in the economic area.
“I will not be histrionic. I will combine everything with the government’s political articulation, talk to the minister [Alexandre] Padilla. 100% thinning. I can guarantee that it will be a very balanced thing, even in the relationship with the other parties in the Chamber”, he says.
Lindbergh says he has good relations with representatives of other parties, such as Isnaldo Bulhões (AL), from MDB, and (Republicanos-PB), current favorite to succeed (PP-AL), and that he will work in Congress to expand the alliance by Lula.
“I want to be the leader who speaks for Lula. I want to be the spokesperson for the government’s achievements. We have to show people more what is being done by the government, something we do little of”, he concludes.
Next year, the PT will also change its presidency. Scheduled for June, the departure of Gleisi Hoffmann (PR) should open space for or , who are more restrained in their criticism.
