At least 20 people were killed this Sunday (10) in the Lebanese town of Aalmat, north of the capital, according to a new report from the Ministry of Health. “The Israeli attack on Aalmat in the Jbeil region killed 20 people, including three children,” the ministry said in a statement. The previous balance was 12 deaths.
Israel has been intensely bombing neighboring Lebanon since September 23. A week later, he launched a ground offensive in the south of the country, after almost a year of border conflicts between his army and the pro-Iranian Hezbollah movement. Israel’s objective, according to authorities, is to allow the return of 60,000 inhabitants of the north of the country, displaced by the Lebanese Islamist group’s incessant shooting for more than a year.
