In an exciting turnaround, Juventude beat Bahia 2-1 at the Alfredo Jaconi Stadium, in Caxias do Sul, on Saturday night (9). The match, valid for the 33rd round of the Brazilian Championship Series A 2024, was marked by spectacular goals and a turnaround in the second stage.
Bahia opened the scoring after just 2 minutes with Cauly, taking advantage of an assist from Luciano Rodríguez. Juventude pressed in search of a draw, hitting the post twice in the first half. The turning point came in the final stage, with Lucas Barbosa scoring a great goal in the 24th minute, tying the game. Gabriel Taliari completed the turnaround in the 34th minute with a goal, giving the final numbers to the match.
