Airports in the Moscow region have temporarily suspended operations, according to the Russian federal air transport agency. The announcement comes amid an alleged Ukrainian drone attack towards Moscow.

There are reports of disruption to operations at Domodedovo, Zhukovo and Moscow-Sheremetievo International Airport this Sunday (10), according to Russian aviation watchdog Rosaviatsia.

One person was injured by a Ukrainian drone strike in Russia’s Moscow region on Sunday, regional governor Andrei Vorobyov said via his channel on the messaging app Telegram.

Ukraine attacked Moscow and its region with at least 32 drones, Russian officials said. This would be the largest Ukrainian drone attack on the Russian capital to date.
