Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Sunday that he spoke three times with US President-elect Donald Trump in recent days, with the aim of strengthening the strong alliance between Israel and the US.
“These conversations were good and very important,” Netanyahu said in a statement. “We agree on the Iranian threat in all its components and the danger it poses. We also see the great opportunities that Israel has before it, in the field of peace and its expansion, and in other fields.”
