The Federal Police (PF) ordered, this Saturday (9), the opening of an investigation to investigate the murder of businessman Antônio Vinicius Gritzbach.
It was on Friday afternoon (8) at terminal 2 at Guarulhos International Airport, in Greater São Paulo. On that occasion, two men disembarked from a black vehicle and fired shots at the businessman, linked to the criminal faction Primeiro Comando da Capital (PCC).
“The investigation will be carried out in an integrated manner with the São Paulo Civil Police and arises from the institution’s airport police function,” said the PF in a statement.
Link with the PCC
According to the investigation of the CNNGritzbach became the target of threats after the death of two members of the PCC: Anselmo Becheli Santa Fausta, aka “Cara Preta”, and Antônio Corona Neto, aka “Sem Sangue”, in December 2022. by the PCC due to the murders .
The businessman — who worked in real estate and cryptocurrency operations — met “Cara Preta” in mid-2018 and began making investments for him.
Sources linked to the investigations reveal that million-dollar transactions were made with money of dubious origin. Over time, however, “Cara Preta”, who was responsible for the movement of million-dollar amounts, began to suspect embezzlement and began an escalation of charges, demanding that Gritzbach “account for the profits obtained”, according to investigation documents.
As suspicions intensified, “Cara Preta” became convinced that he was being deceived and demanded the full return of the amounts. As there was no way to return it, Gritzbach allegedly ordered the death of the influential member of the criminal organization.
Denunciation
Gritzbach negotiated with the Public Ministry of São Paulo (MP-SP). He pointed out the financial transactions of “Cara Preta” and indicated the list of properties he owned, in the name of oranges, in several high-end buildings in the capital of São Paulo. He also named military and civilian police officers suspected of extorting drug traffickers.
The Homicide Department (DHHP), of the São Paulo Civil Police, is investigating the hypothesis of file burning, which could have come from any of the businessman’s enemies, as the motivation for the crime. Images from the airport’s security cameras will be analyzed in the coming hours to try to identify the suspects in the execution.
