The princess joined Prince William and other members of the royal family at the Festival of Remembrance at the Royal Albert Hall in London. The annual event honors the service and sacrifices of the British and Commonwealth Armed Forces.
Upon arrival, William placed a protective hand on Kate’s back several times as they were greeted at the entrance to the Royal Albert Hall. The princess’ latest appearance is significant as it is her first major event with the royal family since announcing she has finished chemotherapy.
Kate honored the soldiers with a traditional poppy pin, which she teamed with a tailored black dress and waves. Notably, she was wearing her sapphire and diamond engagement ring that once belonged to Princess Diana.
