Minister of the Interior of the Slovak Republic and chairman of the Hlas-SD coalition party Matúš Šutaj Eštok appeals to the chairman of the Slovak National Party and deputy speaker of the parliament Andrej Danek to resolve disputes between him and members of the National Council (NR) of the Slovak Republic regarding Rudolf Huliak (unclassified).
According to him, the post of the chairman of the Slovak Republic it still belongs to the Hlas-SD party and at the November meeting they will request that the party’s nominee be elected to the post. The opposition leader of Progressive Slovakia (PS) Michal Šimečka reminded that the government is postponing some votes and three coalition MPs blocked parliament. Politicians announced this in the TA3 V politike talk show.
“Everyone bears responsibility for their parliamentary club, this is the responsibility of the SNS party, if some things happen here, I will solve them as the chairman of the Voice,” declared Šutaj Eštok. At the same time, he thinks that the discussion on changing the electoral or political system, which was outlined on Saturday by Prime Minister Robert Fico (Smer-SD), is possible.
Opposition member of the NR SR At the same time, Šimečka criticized the consolidation of public finances. He also declared that some social measures put a burden on the state budget, which Slovakia does not have the financial resources to do so. “For example, we would not subsidize energy prices across the board,” he emphasized. Šutaj Eštok also stated that the government is planning to fire ten percent of civil servants, who, according to him, will be found in Bratislava.
Šimečka declared that the possible cooperation of the PS with Ivan Korčok is the decision of the former presidential candidate and he will not speak for him. He does not see Korčok as an internal party competitor and his effort is to get other strong personalities for the movement.
Minister of the Interior he repeated that the Minister of Health Kamil Šaško (Voice-SD) has his support. According to him, doctors are primarily interested in higher salaries. Šimečka thinks that Šaško is not doing enough on the topic of the departure of doctors. In this situation, according to him, the government should have come to an agreement with the doctors and should not have violated the memorandum.
