The Israel Defense Forces and the country’s Security Agency released images of alleged attacks carried out by members of the group on civilians. The video, according to the Israeli military, was found during ground incursions in the Gaza Strip.

The recording shows what would be violent interrogations conducted by the extremist group. The material reveals the “Hamas’ methods of governance in the Gaza Strip, imposing terror, harming vulnerable civilians and restricting their freedom of expression”the Israel Defense Forces said in a statement.

According to Israel, the videos were kept by members of Hamas security and document the group’s activities at Outpost 17, located in the Gaza Strip. “The images are believed to be from 2018 to 2020 and were found in the Gaza Strip during operations.”says a statement.

Israeli attack kills dozens of Palestinians

An offensive carried out by the Israeli Army this Sunday (Nov 10, 2024) left dozens of Palestinians dead. According to the Civil Defense of Palestine, at least 25 people were killed, including 13 children.

The attack targeted a family home in Jabalia. Another 30 people were injured.

The Ministry of Health in Gaza released a new balance of 43,603 deaths in the Palestinian territory since the start of the war, in October 2023.

According to the report, the majority of those killed are civilians. The statement also mentions 102,929 injured. The information is from the broadcaster RTP News. In the last 24 hours, 51 people died in the Gaza Strip.

Qatar suspends peace deal mediation

On Saturday (Nov 9), Qatar announced the agreement between Israel and Hamas. The country announced that it will resume its participation as a mediator if the parties demonstrate true seriousness in the negotiation process, which has been stagnant for months.

Dr. Majed bin Mohamed Al Ansari, spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, stated that Qatar will resume the role of mediator, which it shares with Egypt and the United States, when Israel and Hamas “show willingness and seriousness to put an end to this brutal war and the ongoing suffering of civilians caused by the catastrophic humanitarian conditions in the Gaza Strip”.

The spokesperson further added that his country “will be at the forefront of all possible efforts to end the war and return hostages and prisoners.”
