CMR – Correio da Manhã Rádio broadcasts began today, Monday. Only Lisbon and Porto have FM frequencies.
Portuguese people who usually listen to the radio have something new to check out, starting this Monday: the CMR.
The announced CMR – Morning Mail Radio has already started and is the result of the merger between SBSR and Festival radio stations.
Only Lisbon (90.4 FM) and Porto (94.8) have FM frequencies, for now. But the broadcast is always available through the site from Correio da Manhã.
The season brings news constantly updated, alongside programs animation, interviews and opinion (with CMTV commentators). The new station also has sections on gastronomy, health and music, with a daily space for humor too.
He himself highlights the programs ‘Bom dia’ and ‘Voltando para Casa’. The mornings will be attended by Júlio Heitor and Mônica Peixoto and the afternoons by Lara Afonso and Lara Pereira.
The CMR will have an extra: it will allow listen to some of the CMTV programs – simultaneously with what is on television – such as ‘Grande Jornal da Tarde’ and ‘Grande Jornal da Noite’.
O sport will also be a protagonist, with live reports of football games (from the selection of the main Portuguese clubs).
