We took positive things and we will take them to such an important match.”
In 8th place in the South American Qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup, Venezuela has three draws and two wins at home. The team has not yet won away from home. On Thursday, the match will be played against Brazil in the city of Maturín, at 6 pm, Brasília time. Until then, the Brazilian team will only have two training periods. Dorival is counting on the rapport that has been achieved little by little, on FIFA Dates since the second half of the year, to avoid a surprise away from home. “We will have to be very careful, above normal preparation for a game in which we will need all the strength possible, so that we can find the best result. These are players who already know each other, who are starting to find an important path, which I hope will be even better after these two consecutive matches”, projected the coach. The team’s short preparation for this first of two games on this FIFA Date will begin this Monday, in Belém. “I hope that again in Belém there will be a move that will give us all the feeling of wearing this shirt with great pride, dedication, dedication, commitment, which is what we will need for these next two games, which will be fundamental in balancing our position on the leaderboard.”
Upon returning from Venezuela, Brazil will head to Salvador, the venue for the second match of this series, against Uruguay. The team’s last game this year will be on the 19th, Tuesday of next week, at Arena Fonte Nova. “The people have always welcomed the Brazilian team very well and again we will have an opportunity to be in Salvador, I hope we can repay the fans’ affection with a great performance. The Uruguayan team is very well prepared, they are ahead of us at the moment in the qualifying phase and it will be a fundamental game, so that we can consolidate our path, as long as we also play a safe and balanced game.”
