Effective cough decoction
You will need:
- 3 tbsp. sh. fresh or dried nettle leaves
- 4 tbsp. sh. dried cranberries
- 500 ml of hot water
Preparation:
Wash the nettles and cut them into smaller pieces.
Place in a small saucepan and add the dried cranberries.
Fill the contents of the pot with water and let it boil on the stove.
Cook for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
We cover with a lid and let it stand for about 3 hours.
Cough syrup
You will need:
- 1 tbsp. sh. chopped nettle leaves
- 200 g of brown sugar
- 200 ml of water
Preparation:
Put the chopped nettles in a pot, add the brown sugar and cover with water.
Bring to a boil and then simmer for 15 minutes.
Strain the syrup through a sieve into a small glass jar with a lid.
Take 1 tablespoon 4 times a day until the cough goes away.
Always close the lid of the container.
We can also rub the cooled decoction through a sieve after 3 hours.
Drink a glass 1-2 times a day before meals.
