33-year-old lawyer from the English town of Atherton on May 7, 2024 he complained of not feeling well. Although he decided to go to bed, he awoke early in the morning with seizure symptoms and was completely unresponsive. His fiancee Rachael gave him CPR and called an ambulance. That of Greg she took him to the hospital, where unfortunately he died the next day at around eight thirty in the morning due to cardiac arrest.

Doctors pointed out that it was most likely a case of Sudden Adult Death Syndrome (SADS), which is similar to the disease found in newborns. The family is demanding further investigation
The investigator added that Greg was perfectly healthy, played football, went to the gym, didn’t drink much alcohol and didn’t smoke. According to information, however a few months before his death, the young lawyer complained of chest pains. An autopsy ultimately found no signs of abnormalities, though pathologist Patrick Waugh suggested that death must have been caused by a sudden heart failure.
Greg’s despite the investigation, the family is still trying to get more details about the man’s death. They want further investigation into the case, fearing he may have an undiagnosed genetic disorder. Fiancee too set up a fund with the charity Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY) to raise awareness of sudden death in adults.
The assistant coroner paid tribute to Greg at the conclusion of the inquest. “I’m sure it is the tragic and incomprehensible loss you suffered will follow you for the rest of your life. However, it is important that you remember Greg as a great person and remember only the good. Even if it doesn’t make up for his loss, I hope it gives you at least some reassurance about what you were carrying“, he noted.
