The state development bank’s credit portfolio reaches R$550.3 billion; balance sheet came out this Monday (11.nov)
O (National Bank for Economic and Social Development) recorded net profit of R$ 19.0 billion from January to September 2024. The value represents an increase of 31.4% compared to the same period of the previous year, when it was R$14.4 billion.
Profit in the 3rd quarter reached R$5.6 billion. The financial results were released by the state development bank this Monday (11.Nov.2024). Here is the report (PDF – 2 MB).
The financial institution’s expanded credit portfolio reached R$550.3 billion. It is the biggest since 2017.
A bank’s credit portfolio is equivalent to the sum of all loans made by a bank in a given period. It is generally divided into business and personal credit.
BNDES’ net worth ended September at R$169.1 billion. There was an expansion of R$17.8 billion compared to the end of 2023.
