The discussion about the Proposed Amendment to the Constitution (PEC) that provides for the end of the 6×1 scale – which provides for a day off every six days of work – has been buzzing on social media. Some celebrities and influencers spoke out on the subjecttaking different sides.

On Monday night (11), the number of signatures in support of the bill had reached 134. For the PEC to begin processing, the signature of at least 171 of the 513 federal deputies is required.

The influencer and YouTuber defended the proposal that puts an end to the 6×1 scale on social media and even criticized the Minister of Labor, Luiz Marinho, for having said that the issue should be addressed in collective labor conventions and agreements.

Funk singer Valesca Popozuda also supported the proposal and said that she has already worked on a 6×1 scale as a gas station attendant. “It is a scale that harms any human being from having a life with quality and mental health, from dedicating himself to a college or extra course, from enjoying moments of leisure with family and friends”, he wrote.

The funk player also recalled the time when he had to work on a 6×1 scale and said that it is necessary to fight for rights.

Influencer Léo Picon, in turn, criticized the PEC and said it was a “populist idea”. “Do you know what would give workers more time than taking the 6th day off the 44-hour work week? Spending less than 2 hours in traffic every day, full-time daycare centers and schools, not suffocating salaries in taxes that don’t return, lowering the interest rate, public education that contributes to professional growth…”, wrote the brother of .

The actress and presenter also took a stand in favor of the end of the 6×1 scale and criticized Léo Picon. “People only think about their own navels, people,” she said in Instagram stories. “Brazil is not a country that provides opportunities. Education in the country is increasingly flawed. Unfortunately, we are not able to solve our problems in Brazil.”

“So, yes, let’s fight for an improvement that is not for me, but is for someone similar to me. It’s so that we can all live in peace, only then will we have peace. Or do you think people will stop robbing people at traffic lights as long as social differences remain like this?”, asked Piovani.
