When it comes to cinema, physical formats, such as DVD and Blu-Ray, are increasingly rare. Films and series are now accessible through applications such as Netflix and HBO, in addition to being able to watch them on television channels dedicated to film broadcasting. In the music industry, CDs are also increasingly out of favor, but if you haven’t thrown them away yet, know that you could have a fortune at home, as there are CDs worth R$10,000.
As time went by, some people threw away the CDs they had stored at home, but if you left them gathering dust on a shelf, know that you may have valuable objects with you. This is what a study from the magazine cites My Londonpublished on November 5, which warned of the fact that certain CDs can be sold for more than a thousand euros, with some being worth 10 thousand euros.
For example, the The Future of Rock ‘n’ Rollthey Bruce Springsteen, e My Name Was Princeby Prince, were sold exclusively in Japan and, currently, each copy can be worth more than a thousand euros on eBay. On the other hand, if you have a DVD of the EP on your shelf Safetyby Coldplay, released in 1998, know that it is worth 2,400 euros on eBay.
Although 500 copies of this Coldplay work were produced, at the time only 150 were sold. Therefore, the fact that this CD is very rare meant that its sales value was very high.
In any case, one of the CDs that could even make you a fortune is Paris Hilton’s first album, titled Paris. Only 500 copies of the album released in 2006 were produced on CD and, today, each of them can be sold for R$10,000. The reason these CDs are worth so much money is related to the fact that when the album was released, the artist Banksy removed the book that accompanied the CDs, replacing it with his works.
Furthermore, he removed the original records and, in their place, placed remixes of Danger Mousean animated series.
