Ana Paula Martins explained, in Parliament, that the public debt certificates previously purchased with INEM money deprived the institute of its “capacity to invest in means and human resources”.
The Government is trying to carry over balances of 2023 from INEM so that the institute can use them, as well as the public debt certificates previously purchased, the Minister of Health announced this Tuesday.
Em in the joint hearing of the parliamentary committees on Budget and Finance and Health regarding the discussion on the specialty of for 2025, Ana Paula Martins explained that the public debt certificates previously purchased with money from INEM took away the institute’s “capacity to invest in means and human resources”.
Asked about the lack of measures for INEM, the governor recalled that the Government went ahead with the purchase of resources for the landdecided to make R$98 million available for the next tender for medical emergency helitransport, opened a competition for pre-hospital emergency technicians and will begin negotiations with these professionals on the 22nd.
“If this isn’t doing something in the last six months, what is it?”, asked the governor.
As for salary grid which will be negotiated with pre-hospital emergency technicians (TEPH), said that this matter “is very prepared” so that an agreement can be reached quickly.
“If we didn’t do this, the TEPH we were going to hire would end up leaving. That’s what happened in the last few years. They were never given conditions and they weren’t even sat down with them at the table,” he stated.
