Health Minister Kamil Šaško (Voice-SD) on Tuesday dismissed director Michal Plesník from his position. Nand the post was appointed by Ľuboš Chmelár. That medical facility will lead to the filling of the place by the applicant who is successful in the selection process. TASR was informed about this by the communication department of the Ministry of Health (MOH) of the Slovak Republic.
“The goal of the personnel exchange is to make the hospital’s operation more efficient. Chmelár is a graduate of the University of Economics in Bratislava. He has thirty years of management experience in various industries and sectors. The new director of the hospital in Trenčín took up the position for a fixed period, until the position is filled by a successful candidate of the selection procedure according to the provisions of the relevant law,” they explained.
Šaško announced personnel changes in the management of the hospital in Trenčín at the end of October. Several opposition parties appealed for the dismissal of Plesník from the post of director. They pointed to problems in the cardiology or pediatric department.
