The teams running for the São Paulo section have almost 200 members, with emphasis on the five positions on the board, which include president and vice-president, as well as candidates for federal councilor.
The election will be online, from 9am to 5pm. For registered lawyers with up-to-date annual fees, voting is mandatory, and optional for those over 70 years of age.

New Order Plate
President: He is running for command of the entity for the second time. He has a law degree from Puccamp (Pontifical Catholic University of Campinas), has a specialization in international business negotiation and was a police chief. He has a conservative profile and is supported by Bolsonarian names.
Vice: Maristela Basso, lawyer and professor of international law at USP (University of São Paulo). In 2017, he filed a complaint against Nicolás Maduro at the International Criminal Court with other lawyers.
The criminalist, who works in the defense of Jair Bolsonaro (PL), is a candidate for full federal councilor, while Flavia Ferronato, a Bolsonaro lawyer with a strong digital presence, is one of the substitutes, as is the specialist in digital law Patrícia Peck. The lawyer and former Jovem Pan presenter Tiago Pavinatto is running for the state council.
Chapa Caio + Gandra + D’Urso #For Order
President: . He sought re-election and was defeated. In 2022, he ran for federal deputy for União Brasil. He was a member of the board of directors during Marcos da Costa’s two terms at the head of the section and, before that, he was part of the Bauru subsection. He has a master’s degree in law from the Toledo Education Institution (Bauru).
Vice: Angela Vidal Gandra Martins, lawyer who is the daughter of Ives Gandra and was national secretary for the Family in the Bolsonaro government. He completed his doctorate at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul.
For the federal council, there are names such as Luiz Flávio Borges D’Urso, who led the entity for three consecutive terms (2004 to 2012), the rector of Universidade Zumbi dos Palmares, José Vicente, and specialist in gender violence Alice Bianchini. The board includes lawyer and professor Ricardo Sayeg, president of the Institute of Humanist Capitalism
Chapa Kauffmann and Lucineia OAB Unida
President: O, who is a professor at PUC-SP (Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo), an institution from which he holds a master’s degree in criminal procedure. He participated in different administrations of the OAB-SP. He was president of the section’s Ethics and Disciplinary Court under the management of Caio Augusto, against whom he is now running.
Vice: Lucineia Rosa, professor and doctor in human rights, was among the black lawyers considered for Minister Rosa Weber’s vacancy at the Federal Supreme Court.
Among the candidates for the federal council are lawyer Luanda Pires (who, before joining Kauffmann, was made up of black, peripheral and LGBTQIA+ people) and lawyer and professor Pedro Serrano, former state attorney and linked to the group Prerogativas. Aislan de Queiroga, who was general secretary during the Caio administration, is posturing the same position.
OAB Plate Always Forward
President: Criminalist Leonardo Sica, current vice-president of OAB-SP, is running for the second time for command of the entity. In 2018, he lost the dispute. In the following election, she changed places and ended up being elected. PhD in law from USP, he presided over the AASP (São Paulo Lawyers Association) from 2015 to 2016.
Vice: Daniela Magalhães, current secretary general of the entity, was vice-president of the Jundiaí subsection. Specialist in corporate law, he studied law at the Padre Anchieta Law School.
Current president of the entity, Patricia Vanzolini is a candidate for federal counselor, as is lawyer Silvia Souza, who currently holds that position. Among the substitutes are strong names in the networks such as preparatory course teacher Marco Antonio Araujo Jr and lawyer Flávio Tartuce. Also on the ticket is the president of the São Paulo Lawyers Union, Fábio Gaspar.
OAB Mute Plate
President: Lawyer Paulo Quissi is in his third term as president of the OAB of Carapicuíba — he is the only one among the candidates for command of the section who is in charge of a subsection. He founded the Association of Entrepreneurial Lawyers and wrote works on topics such as legal marketing. Master in human rights from Centro Universitário Fieo
Vice: Lawyer and speaker, Fabiana Quezada, is president of the OAB-SP Systemic Law Commission, which involves the use of family constellation in law, as well as founder of the Brazilian Society of Systemic Law.
One of the candidates for federal councilor is lawyer Umberto Luiz Borges D’Urso, who is running against his own brother, Luiz Flávio Borges D’Urso, running for the same position on another ticket. Renata Bilhim, a lawyer specializing in tax law and with a PhD from UERJ (State University of Rio de Janeiro), is seeking to become general secretary.
Popular OAB Plate
President: Lawyer Renato Ribeiro de Almeida, specialist in electoral law. Doctor in State Law from USP and Master in Political and Economic Law from Mackenzie. He is coordinator of Abradep (Brazilian Academy of Electoral and Political Law) and also an advisor to the Luiz Gama Institute – an institute chaired by Silvio Almeida.
Vice: Adriana de Morais, lawyer and master in law and sociology from Universidade Federal Fluminense and graduated from PUC-Campinas. Specialist in gender, race, anti-discrimination and real estate law.
Among the candidates for full federal councilor is lawyer Renato Aparecido Gomes, specialist in tax law and president of the Luiz Gama Institute, as well as two other directors of the institute: Waleska Miguel Batista and Camilo Onoda Caldas. The substitute also includes Rubens Beçak, professor of constitutional law at the Faculty of Law of Ribeirão Preto at USP.
