Political crisis in Madeira: Alberto João Jardim defends Albuquerque's dismissal

A new political crisis may be in sight in Madeira. The PS decided to support Chega’s motion of censure and the fall of the Executive will be inevitable if the Juntos Pelo Povo (JPP) party also supports it. The former president of the Regional Government of Madeira says that the “PSD needs new leadership.”

The former president of the Regional Government of Madeira, Alberto João Jardim, said that PSD Madeira needs a “leader capable of uniting the party” and reveals that in the last 10 years Miguel Albuquerque never had “a serious conversation” about politics with him .

“Since 2015, PSD Madeira has not had a capable leader, with the competence to unite the party. This has to be resolved, the PSD needs new leadership”, he criticized.

Alberto João Jardim believes that “a former prime minister who never exchanged views with the prime minister who succeeded him must be a unique case”, he also said.

A new political crisis may be in sight in Madeira. THE and the fall of the Executive will be inevitable if the Juntos Pelo Povo (JPP) party also supports it. The possible crisis is shaking the PSDB.
