Frost may occur in several places in Slovakia on Tuesday and Wednesday (November 13) in the morning. In some localities, fog with visibility of 50 to 200 meters must also be expected. Meteorologists have therefore issued warnings of the first degree for several districts. The Slovak Hydrometeorological Institute (SHMÚ) informed about it on the website.
The frost warning applies to the entire Košice, Prešovské, Žilina and Banskobystrica regions also several districts of Trenčia region and Zlaté Moravce district. “Ice formation poses a potential hazard to human activities,” warned meteorologists, saying that the warning is valid from Tuesday to Wednesday at 8:00 a.m.
The SHMÚ issued a fog warning for the entire Banskobystrický regionmost of the districts of the Nitra region as well as the districts of Partizánske, Prievidza and Turčianske Teplice. It is provisionally valid from Tuesday to Wednesday 10:25 a.m.
